If we make a list of the flowers which are most used in the tattoo designs, then the rose will surely get the first place. The rose which is the symbol of love and beauty is the first choice of the tattoo lovers. It is common in both males and females, but it is more common in ladies than the men. We often see a tattoo of rose with some thorns with it. It suggests us that the love does not come without the sacrifice and the love which comes without sacrifice actually does not have pride and respect.

Normally, the love birds engrave roses on their bodies to express their love for each other. Some times a small heart is also engraved with this rose which shows that their hearts beat for each other and they would remain faithful with each other. The girls would eagerly engrave it on their wrists and on their necks to show that they are in love.

A rose is not just the symbol and representative of love, but it also symbolizes many other things as well, like birth, rebirth, death, life and procreation. The roses are found in different colors all around the world and all of them have different meanings. The red rose is for love, while the yellow rose is the sign of friendship. Similarly, there are many other roses as well, like purple, black, and white as well. All of these are special and unique though, but the red rose is considered the most famous in the world.
