Reginald Quincy “Fieldy” Arvizu is the metal band Korn bassist and he is best known as Fieldy. In the start of his career he played for other band with Brian Welch and later they both became Korn’s guitarists.

He was born on 2nd November 1969 in Los Angeles County, California. Fieldy first time met Welch at school and due to love for music they soon became good friends. When he completed his studies from high school David Silveria, Shaffer and Welch also joined him and they moved to Los Angeles . They formed a band and named it L.A.P.D and started their musical career. They signed a deal and gained fame and later they changed the name of their band to Korn when Jonathan Davis joined them.

Due to Fieldy’s large cheeks his band mates called him “Gopher” as a joke and later it changed to Garfield. After some time they added a “y” into Field and it became Fieldy and today he is best known as Fieldy among his fans.

He plays SDGR SR5005 which is an Ibanez model with 5-string and known as K-5. During his youth he was influenced by Faith No More member Billy Gould.

Not only this he is also the Korn’s main songwriter and he likes hip-hop style. Fieldy organize all the internal and external matters of band.
On the other hand he has also released an album Rock’n Roll Gangster through his own side project Fieldy’s Dreams. On 16th May 2006 he married Deena Beber and it was his third marriage and he also has two daughters from his marriage with Shela Arvizu.

Fieldy
